This is Ursah, she belongs to 
I really loved drawing this one, i have been working on my shading and think this turned out pretty well concidering i am not use to doing ANY type of background let alone one that request there to be a lot of shading. the 'white' spots through out are meant to be openings in the foliage where light has passed to the ground below-tho i probably didnt need to explain that...-.-`
so, i hope she likes this as much as i do

I think the dappled light on the ground is just lovely. It sets a wonderful mood.
Backgrounds are one of those things that are really easy to avoid drawing (trust me, I know) but the sooner you start the less scary they will be. And I think you are off to a fantastic start.
